Privacy policy
Last Updated: 8/28/26
1. Introduction
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how CE Kitchen Inc (dba Clean Eatz Kitchen) ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our website at https://www.cleaneatzkitchen.com, use our mobile application (Android and iOS), or interact with us in any other way (collectively, the "Service").
Where applicable law requires your consent before we process certain categories of information — including sensitive personal information and consumer health data — we will obtain that consent separately rather than relying on your use of the Service.
If you are a Washington, Nevada, or Connecticut resident, please also review our [Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy], which describes how we handle consumer health data and the additional rights you have.
For questions or requests regarding your personal data, contact us at support@cleaneatzkitchen.com.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
Account Information. Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and password.
Order Information. Billing address, shipping address, payment card information, and details about the products you purchase. Payment card data is transmitted directly to and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
Dietary and Health-Related Information. If you tell us about dietary preferences, restrictions, allergies, health goals, or medical conditions — through your account, a quiz or questionnaire, customer service, or by selecting condition-oriented meal plans — we collect that information. We may also infer dietary or health-related preferences from the products you browse and purchase.
Communications. The content of messages you send us by email, phone, live chat, or social media, including attachments.
User-Generated Content. Product reviews, images, and other content you submit, with associated metadata.
Survey and Feedback Data. Information you provide in surveys, promotions, or contests.
SMS Opt-In Data. Your phone number and consent preferences if you opt in to SMS messaging. Consent to receive marketing SMS is not a condition of purchase.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
Device and Log Information. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, date and time stamps, clickstream data, and pages or features you view.
Approximate Location. General geographic location derived from your IP address.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. See Section 8.
Usage Information. Products viewed, items added to cart, searches performed, and the timing and frequency of your visits.
2.3 Information We Receive from Third Parties
Payment Processors. Transaction data for order processing and fraud prevention.
Shipping Carriers. Delivery status, confirmation, and exceptions.
Analytics Providers. Aggregated or de-identified site usage data.
Social Media Platforms. If you log in using a Facebook, Google, or Apple account, we may receive your name, email address, and profile information, subject to your settings on that platform.
Advertising Partners. Information about your interactions with our advertisements on other platforms, including whether an ad led to a visit or purchase.
Online Marketplaces. If you purchase from us through Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, or a similar platform, we receive order and fulfillment information from that platform. Your relationship with that platform is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
2.4 Health Plan and Benefit Program Participants
If you receive our meals through a health plan, government program, or other third-party benefit program, we receive information from that program or plan necessary to verify your eligibility and fulfill authorized orders. This may include your name, contact and delivery information, the authorized service period, and the quantity of meals authorized.
We use this information only to fulfill your benefit and to communicate with you about your orders and eligibility. We do not use benefit program participation for advertising, and we do not disclose it to advertising platforms.
3. How We Use Your Information
Order Fulfillment. To process, fulfill, and ship your orders; send confirmations, shipping notices, and delivery updates; and process replacements, credits, or refunds.
Account Management. To create and manage your account, authenticate you, and provide customer support.
Communication. To respond to inquiries, provide customer service, send transactional messages, and — with your consent — send promotional messages.
Service Improvement. To analyze usage, diagnose technical issues, improve the website and app, and develop new products and features.
Personalization. To recommend products and tailor your experience, including based on dietary preferences you have shared and your purchase history.
Marketing and Advertising. To send promotional email and SMS, and to deliver advertising to you on third-party platforms, including advertising based on your activity on our Service. See Section 4.2 and Section 7.2 for your opt-out rights.
Safety and Security. To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions, protect the Service, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use it for purposes other than those permitted under applicable law.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 Service Providers
We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf under written contracts that prohibit them from using your information for their own purposes. Emails you receive from these vendors are sent on our behalf — we have not sold or given your information to them for their own use.
- Shopify Inc. — e-commerce platform, transaction processing, order data storage, website hosting. https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
- Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) — delivery and tracking
- Vajro — mobile app platform; receives email address and account information
- Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics — website and app usage analysis. https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Klaviyo — email and SMS marketing; receives email address, phone number, name, purchase history, and browsing behavior. https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice

- ReferralCandy — referral program; receives name, email address, order information, referral activity, and reward status
4.2 Advertising Partners
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do, however, share personal information with advertising platforms so that we can show you our advertisements on other sites and apps. Under California and several other state privacy laws, this is considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or "targeted advertising," and you have the right to opt out.
The platforms we use for this purpose include Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Google, deployed through Google Tag Manager. The information shared may include online identifiers, device information, and information about the pages you view and products you purchase.
To opt out, see Section 7.2.
4.3 Health Plans and Benefit Programs
If you participate in a benefit program, we share order, delivery, and eligibility information with the sponsoring plan or program as required to administer your benefit and obtain payment.
4.4 Business Transfers
If CE Kitchen Inc is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other business transition, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email and by prominent notice on our website.
4.5 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, or legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect the rights, property, or safety of CE Kitchen Inc, our customers, or others, address fraud or security issues, or enforce our Terms of Service.
4.6 With Your Consent
We may share information with other third parties where you have given express consent.
4.7 Aggregated or De-Identified Information
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We maintain such information in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
- Account Information — for as long as your account is active. On a verified deletion request, we delete account data within thirty (30) days, except as described below.
- Order and Transaction Data — seven (7) years, for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. This means that if you request deletion, we will delete your account and marketing data but retain transaction records for this period, as permitted by applicable privacy law.
- Marketing Preferences — for as long as your account is active or until you change them. Opt-out records are retained after deletion so that we can honor your opt-out.
- Website and App Usage Data — up to twenty-four (24) months, unless needed longer for security or legal purposes.
- Customer Support Communications — up to three (3) years after resolution.
When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including: encryption of payment card data in transit using industry-standard TLS; hashed and salted storage of account credentials; security monitoring and vulnerability assessment; role-based access controls limiting employee access on a need-to-know basis; and physical security at our facilities.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and do not share your credentials.
7. Your Choices and Rights
7.1 Marketing Communications
Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email, or contact us. You will continue to receive transactional messages about your orders and account.
SMS. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
Push Notifications. Manage through your device settings.
7.2 Targeted Advertising and Sale/Sharing
You may opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising by:
- Using the [Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information] link in our website footer; or
- Enabling a browser-based opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC signals, and treat them as a valid opt-out for the browser and device on which they are enabled; or
- Emailing support@cleaneatzkitchen.com with the subject line "Opt Out of Targeted Advertising."
7.3 Account Information
Update, correct, or delete your account information by logging in or contacting us. To delete your account, email support@cleaneatzkitchen.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request," including the email address on your account.
7.4 Access, Correction, Deletion, and Portability
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Submit requests to support@cleaneatzkitchen.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — generally forty-five (45) days, which may be extended once where permitted. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
7.5 Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal. Email support@cleaneatzkitchen.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal," including your original request and the reason you believe our decision was incorrect. We will respond in writing within forty-five (45) days with our decision and the reasons for it. If we deny your appeal, we will provide you with a method to contact your state Attorney General to submit a complaint.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies, including web beacons and pixel tags. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser.
Strictly Necessary Cookies. Required for basic site operation — cart functionality, authentication, security, and fraud detection.
Performance and Analytics Cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the site. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Functional Cookies. Enable personalized features such as saved preferences and cart contents.
Marketing and Advertising Cookies. Set by us and by advertising partners to deliver our advertisements to you across other websites and apps, and to measure their performance. These are the technologies described in Section 4.2, and you may opt out of them as described in Section 7.2.
Managing Cookies. Most browsers accept cookies by default and allow you to block or delete them. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality.
Opt-Out Preference Signals. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar universal opt-out mechanisms. When we detect such a signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser or device. Because these signals are browser- and device-specific, you will need to enable them on each browser and device you use.
Do Not Track. There is no consistent industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals, and we do not respond to them. Use the opt-out preference signal described above instead.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen (16).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13). If we learn we have done so without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) for targeted advertising, and we do not knowingly process the personal information of a minor for targeted advertising or profiling. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@cleaneatzkitchen.com.
10. Notice of Financial Incentive
We offer programs that provide a benefit in exchange for your personal information, including [discounts for signing up for email or SMS], our referral program, and our rewards program.
How it works. [Describe: e.g., new subscribers receive X% off their first order; referrers and referred customers each receive $Y in store credit.] We collect your email address, phone number, name, and purchase and referral activity in connection with these programs.
How to join and withdraw. You opt in by signing up. You may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us at support@cleaneatzkitchen.com, though you may lose the associated benefit.
Value of your data. We estimate the value of the personal information involved to be approximately equal to the value of the discount or reward offered, calculated as the expense we incur in providing it. We do not assign monetary value to personal information for any other purpose.
11. State-Specific Privacy Rights
The rights described in Section 7 are available to residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
11.1 California Residents
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, postal address); customer records; commercial information (purchase and order history); internet and network activity (browsing and device information, cookies); approximate geolocation; audio and visual information (images you submit); inferences drawn from the above; and sensitive personal information.
Sensitive personal information. We collect account log-in credentials and, for some customers, health-related information including dietary restrictions, allergies, and health goals. We use this information only to provide and secure the Service and to fulfill your orders. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by Civil Code § 1798.121, and therefore do not offer a separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in Section 4.2. You may opt out as described in Section 7.2. We have shared the following categories for this purpose in the preceding twelve months: identifiers and internet and network activity.
We disclosed the categories listed above to service providers for the business purposes described in Section 4.
11.2 Oregon Residents
In addition to the rights above, you may request a list of the specific third parties to which we have disclosed your personal data. Email support@cleaneatzkitchen.com with the subject line "Oregon Third Party Request."
11.3 Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut Residents
Consumer health data is subject to additional protections. See our [Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy] for a description of the consumer health data we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights, including the right to withdraw consent and to have your consumer health data deleted.
11.4 Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, and Other States
You have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. You also have the right to appeal a denied request, as described in Section 7.5.
12. Data Breach Notification
If a breach compromises the security of your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and applicable regulators as required by law, by email, prominent website notice, or other appropriate means. Notice will describe the breach, the categories of information involved, and the steps we are taking.
13. International Users
Our Service is operated from the United States and we ship only within the contiguous United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Service may link to third-party websites and services we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before using them.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date, post notice on our website, and — for changes that significantly affect how we use your personal information — email the address associated with your account.
